We love this unassuming, very functional little grinder made by Kyocera Advanced Ceramics.The Kyocera grinder has a rust-proof ceramic grinding mechanism. This is the only type that works well with coarse moist sea salt. It will not cake up and the salt does not have to be pre-dried. It grinds the coarse moist salt to a fine texture. The mechanism is very durable and the entire grinder is dishwasher safe. This ingenious grinder won't make a mess of your table or counter: just pop off the little flat top cap and turn the grinder upside down to grind. To refill the grinder, twist off the entire hard white plastic top section and simply refill the glass container ( just like filling a jar ).
