US Series (2 or 3 cartridges):
Choose a cartridge combination from the following:

Cartridge #1:
1.0 micron absolute sediment removal cartridge (certified to remove giardia and cryptosporidium cysts): Pleated design by Harmsco/FlowMax provides very large surface area for sediment removal down to 1.0 micron absolute. Life: Up to 24 months

Cartridge #2:
Multi-purpose cartridge (MPF-KDF): Active carbon,
KDF media (removes chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, microorganisms, heavy metals, iron etc), and spun polypropylene (5 micron rating) for sediments removal;
Rated at 5,000 gallons (18,925L); recommended life: 2 years or plugging up, whichever is the earlier.

Cartridge #3:
1 micron carbon block cartridge (PB-1): lead removal carbon block (removes chlorine, lead, tate and odor, most volatile organic chemicals, sediment (down to 1 micron), giardia and cryptosporidium cysts.
Rated at 2,500 gallons (9,462L); recommended life: 1 year or plugging up, whichever is the earlier.

EZ Series (1, 2 or 4 cartridges):
Features easy "Twist-and-Change" replacement cartridges. Each filter cartridge change takes less than 30 seconds, and no spills too!

The regular cartridge combination is:
#1 Q5605 (EZ-2, EZ-4)
#2 Q5633 (EZ-1, EZ-2, EZ-4)
#3 Q5621 (EZ-4)
#4 Q5620 (EZ-4)
You may substitute any cartridge by another type at any time, as long as the combinations are compatible and suited for the quallity of water supply.

For the US Series, an option without the countertop dispenser faucet is available for undersink connection directly to the kitchen faucet line - Features:
- 3/8" tubing for faster flow
- 3/8" JG quick connectors to and from kitchen faucet line.

However, we strongly recommend the use of a separate dispenser faucet for filtered water instead of filtering all water for the kitchen faucet.

The UV sterilizer option is strongly recommended for relatively high-risk water supplies, such as lake or well water. Read our Information on UV Sterilizers to familiarize yourself with the conditions under which UV sterilizers are effective.

One of the best uses of the US-1, US-2 or US-3 is installation under the bathroom sink to filter chlorine and other unwanted impurities from the water.

When ordering, please select what type of water pipe the filter unit is to be connected to, otherwise we will assume that you are connecting to a 3/8" copper pipe.
