FREE Water Quality Consultation Service to Aid in Filter Selection (This is NOT an Order Page)
This free service is back - by popular demand!
However, due to the high volume of enquiries, we have to modify our response procedures to be able to continue with this FREE SERVICE, as follows:
1.
Call your city water supplies department and request a water quality report (Most municipalities in Canada/USA provide this free of charge);
2.
Click onto this very informative Wilkes University Water Testing and Information web site to get a better understanding of your water quality problem and treatment options (Note: This site has commercial water filter advertisements but their pricing may be on the higher side);
Links to Safe Drinking Water Quality Guidelines for the USA (Primary & Secondary standards) and/or Canada are very useful;
3.
If you do not know the levels of contaminants in your water that are of concern to you, you may purchase inexpensive water test kits from us. Some USA or Canadian municipalities may offer free selective water tests;
4.
Complete and submit our Water Quality Questionnaire;
5.
We will then provide our water quality engineer's recommendations to the customer as to what filter sytem(s) are suitable.
Important Disclaimer:

ALWAYS consult a reputable third party before you decide.
If customers are on a non-disinfected or non-municipal water supply system and would like potable drinking water, either a water distiller (good for drinking water production only) or a system with UV MUST be used so that disease-causing or potentially deadly micro-organisms can be killed. The only other alternative is to boil water (long rolling boil for at least 3 minutes) before drinking.
If your water concerns are primarily related to drinking water quality, it is often advisable to consider using a water distiller or installing a countertop/undersink drinking water system which filters to finer levels. They are also more cost-effective than whole house systems.
Whole house filter sytems we sell are manufactured by leading U.S. manufacturers but we configure the multi-media filter bed based on the customer's specific needs.
When purchasing these units from us, customers must be aware that we do not install and they will need to find suitable persons to install our units. Detailed installation instructions are provided with each unit.
Dimensions of filter systems vary.
