Cartridges rated at 1-micron or lower will clog up very easily if sediment levels in the feed water are high. We suggest a high-capacity 0.35 micron-rated pleated sediment pre-filter in an undersink filter housing be used as a pre-filter to protect them from premature clogging. No exchanges or refunds are entertained for sediment clog-ups.

The service life of these cartridges is generally one year or its rated capacity (whichever is the earlier). Actual life will, however, vary with the level of sediments, feed water quality, and water consumption.

The diameter of these cartridges may differ from the original Everpure cartridges. However, the head will definitely fit Everpure valve heads if the number of the Everpure cartridge(s) they are designed to replace is/are specified above (A few Everpure filter systems use a different type of head, e.g. the Pro-series).
