Iron & Lead removal cartridge:
This CRC cartridge can be used as a brine (sodium chloride) regenerable RO prefilter or drinking water cartridge constructed totally of FDA grade materials and media. It will remove lead and other heavy metals from feed streams and demonstrates a capacity of 2500 ppm-gallons, even in hard water. To determine real gallonage capacity, divide the 2500 ppm by the heavy metal content (as CaCO3) to be removed. The result is the approximate number of gallons that can be treated. The CRC can also be used to remove clear water iron as an RO prefilter with exhibited capacities for iron in excess of 5000 ppm-gallons. This can eliminate iron fouling of and remove metallic tastes in drinking water caused by iron, copper or galvanized pipes. Other metals removed by the CRC include mercury, tin, nickel, chromium, cadmium, zinc, radium, barium, and selenium.

Specifications:
- Size: 9 3/4"L x 2.5"Diam
-Pre-media: 100 micron reticulated poly foam
-Filter media: High efficiency sodium form ion exchange resin
-Post-media: 20 micron spun-bonded polypropylene
-Flow rate: 0.5 - 0.75 gpm
-Capacity: 5000 ppm-gallons for iron; 2500 ppm-gallons for lead (e.g. 1000 gallons if combined iron & lead level is 5ppm in feed water)
-pH range: 5 - 9
-Performance: Third party tested to reduce lead to less than 0.05 ppm from a 20 ppm feed stream for (equivalent of) 2500 ppm and more than 1500 ppm from a 0.25 ppm challenge

KDF media cartridge:
- Capacity: 60,000gal/227,000L
- Design flow rate: 0.25gpm(9-3/4"L); 0.5gpm(20"L)
- Max/Min temperature: 100degF/40degF (38degC/5degC)
- Max/Min pressure:
125/20psi (8.6/1.4bar)
- Micron rating: 10 mic nominal

Organics Removal cartridge:
- Sizes: 9.75" x 2.5"diam.;
20" x 4.5"diam.
- FDA grade combination of strong and weak base high capacity anion exchange resin and high activity GAC
- 100 micron reticulated poly foam pre-filter
- 20 micron spun-bonded polypropylene post-filter
- Design flow rate: 0.25 to 0.5gpm
- Capacity: 15000 ppm as KMnO4 or as O2/5
- pH range: 3.0 to 9.0

Sodium removal cartridge:
This cartridge is constructed totally of FDA grade materials and media.
- Size: 9 3/4"L x 2.5"Diam
-Pre-media: 100 micron reticulated poly foam
-Filter media: High efficiency potassium form ion exchange resin
-Post-media: 20 micron spun-bonded polypropylene
-Flow rate: 0.1 - .5 gpm
-Capacity: 7500 ppm-gallons (e.g. 1500 gallons if sodium level in feed water is 5ppm; 500 gallons if sodium level in feed water is 25ppm)
-pH range: 3 - 11
-Performance: Third party tested to remove 99.9% of influent sodium from a 70 ppm stream for 150 gallons; 99.4% after 175 gallons, and 98.4% at 200 gallons

Technical Information:
It will remove virtually all of the sodium from softened water or R/O product water for approximately 7500 ppm-gallons. To determine gallons, divide the 7500ppm by the ppm of sodium (as CaCO3) to be removed. The result is the number of gallons that can be treated with complete sodium removal. On hard water, include the total cations in calculating capacity. The NaK can also be used for lead and heavy metal removal with a capacity of 2500ppm-gallons to a 0.05 ppm lead break. The NaK is regenerable using potassium chloride brine.
