SED035 & SED01A:
0.35 micron (nominal) and 1.0 micron (absolute) high-capacity pleated pre-filter cartridge for model CF2:
-High sediment retention capacity
-Washable & re-usable a few times

The 0.35 micron nominal cartridge has very high sediment retention capacity, whereas the 1 micron absolute cartridge has high sediment retention capacity (but less than the 0.35 micron) and is guaranteed to remove parasitic cysts such as giardia and crypstosporidium.

How to Re-use:
Wash cartridge by directing a strong water jet to dislodge sediments trapped in the pleats of the cartridge (such as using a garden hose sprayer, but definitely NOT a power washer!) Keep your hands clean and take care not to introduce contaminants to the filter cartridge, such as placing the cartridge on a clean plate after washing. The manufacturer has not specified how many times the cartridge can be washed and re-used, but our opinion is that it can be re-used at least 3 times if the wash process does not damage the pores of the cartridge.
