#A1 to #A4: 9 3/4"L x 2 1/2"Diam
These are high capacity depth-gradient cartridges.

#B1 to #B4: 9 3/4"L x 2 3/4"Diam
High capacity pleated sediment cartridges:
The SED035 is less expensive than the SED01A because the SED035 is rated at 0.35 micron nominal, whereas the SED01A is rated at 1 micron absolute. A nominal rating, in layman's terms, means that the average pore size whereas an absolute rating guarantees that the pore size is no larger than the rated dimension indicated. Filter cartridges rated at 1.0 micron absolute or lower is guaranteed to remove parasitic cysts to the order of 99.99%.

The SED035 is a very effective and high-capacity (longlasting) cartridge which serves to protect other cartridges downstream from clogging up prematurely. This cartridge is, in our field experience, the best among all brands/manufacturers.

Granulated active carbon (GAC) cartridges

Note: When water is passed through newly installed GAC (granulated active carbon) cartridges, carbon fines in the manufacturing process will be washed out by the water. The release of carbon fines in the initial few days of use is normal. However, it is therefore advisable to allow water to run through the filter system very slowly for about 5 to 10 minutes to avoid carbon fines from washing out in large quantities which may either cause the filtered water to be greyish in colour or being lodged onto the surface of another filter cartridge downstream (if any).

#D1 to #D2: Hi-speed RO membranes: 50gpd and 100gpd
Note: These membranes must be used in conjunction with flow restrictors with the correct flow ratings.
